Joy was my Prepress Manager and Color Specialist on numerous magazines for two companies, Active Interest Media and Outside Inc.

The joke in the office was always that Joy could take a dull, gray day and make it a bright sunny day, that went for her personality as well. Joy is very calm, quiet and level headed. She worked very well with all types of creative staffers from art directors, creative directors, photo editors and photographers assuring she provided the color they were looking for and had requested. Joy is very detailed and organized, easy to work with and always willing to please whomever she is working with.

On the technical side, Joy also managed the prepress or premedia of our print files. Joy preflighted ad files and editorial files prior to uploading to the printer sites. Joy prepared those files for the final print files according to the printer specs. Joy has an excellent skill for troubleshooting files and correcting if needed.
